• Hellooo.

  I spent my day off yesterday in Davis, and I was able to have an amazing day with Phuc. 

  Also, since I didn't blog on October 28th, happy four year anniversary to Phuc and meeee!  Whoo-hoo!

  Phuc built me an epic road bike for our four year anniversary/Christmas, which I got to be able to try out for the first time in Davis!    It was super awesome.  I didn't get to bring it home just yet because Phuc just needs to touch up some things, but it was still super cool finally being able to bike around Davis and go to all the places that Phuc has been telling me about.  A whole bunch of people from high school met me up at the Amtrak station at Davis to say bye, which was really fun too. 

  I learned something interesting the other day: that I'm in a long-distance relationship.  I actually didn't really grasp this idea until Joeve commented me a message of congratulations for my four-year anniversary with Phuc: "Christa & Phuc -- Making long-distance relationships possible!"  And I pretty much thought, "Hmm.  That's right, huh?"  Before, I didn't really see ourselves like that.  I just knew that I really missed him a lot, and that I was willing to leap across the 130 miles between us in a heartbeat.  I have the Amtrak down to an art now.  It’s really something else.  In fact, it’s really good actually that Phuc has work on the weekends, or else I’d be super poor right now from dropping money to visit him all the time.  >_>
   
  Also, I’m pretty sure that my iPod died, after a hardworking five years under my wing.  I’m back to retro CD-player use.  Thanks, iPod, for your hard work.
