Month: June 2009

  • Hoy!

This is how long, school-free days are destined to be spent:  Blogging.  When was the last time I updated twice in two days?  I predict long summer days being spent updating.  I'm also probably going to try to update twofiddy (my "couple xanga" with Phuc) more, too!  :o

I became so bored studying for Chemistry that I thought I was about to implode, so I'm taking a break (actually, my second break; i spent my first break playing with make-up) to blog.  Although most of my day was spent watching CoCo again.

So much of my day that I completely lost track of time this morning and was almost late for my Drama Club field trip to the broadway production of the Lion King today!  Yes, that's right, Drama Club is so awesome and kick-booty that I am willing to come back to school three days after graduating for it.  Or at least Lion King definitely is.  Yes.

I finally met Mrs. Antonopoulos for the first time today.. though probably for the last time too.  >__>;;  It was fun seeing the underclassmen and Rachel/Shayla again!  As for the actual Lion King production, it was absolutely AMMAAZZZIIINGGG.  I quite literally spent the first half of Act I at the edge of my seat; Phuc can attest to this.

And the opening number simply changed my life.  Changed it forever.  I am no longer the Christa that you all know and love.  Lion King does that to a person.  The opening number was quite similar to this except 500x more epic because it was in person, and the live version also had Pride Rock (friendly reminder: the crazy big rock formation that everyone likes to roar from):

    YAY.

Then, I came home, ate noodles, and watched more CoCo.

    EPIC?  I THINK SO.

    there's no mountain too great

    Bye for now!

  • I'm going to start referring to Conan O'Brien as "CoCo."

    Rawr!

So I pretty much declared that my graduation is to be a week-long celebration, so I totally crashed Baskin-Robbins today and got a Celebration Ice Cream.. which is just ice cream except.. I'm awesome.  Thus it became Celebration Ice Cream.  8D

And while my new laptop has 2 GB of RAM whereas my desktop has 512 MB (it's so old but tries so hard), I've been recently holed up in my room on my laptop watching Legend of the Seeker (::drool:: @ Craig Horner, he is such a gorgeous man) and The Tonight Show with CoCo.  I used to watch CoCo every night when I lived in San Jose, but stopped when I moved here to Sacramento because my analog signal here doesn't get NBC.  Although this totally reminds me why I loved Late Night with CoCo so much:

Meanwhile, I'm still full of excitement from being a graduate!  I'm excited for UCM more now that I've already found an awesome roommate and scored the apartment-style dorms at UCM!  But while I'd like to say "OMFG UC MERCED I AM SO READY FOR YOU, RAWRRR," I still need to study for my math and chemistry placement tests!  I've gotten some footing on my Chemistry reviews from my old chem notebook and some online practice tests, but I'm still reviewing ALGEBRA.  >_>.  That year of AP Stats really just... rotted my brain.  It was such a No-Arithmetic-Required kind of math class, ugh!  Two weeks to go until my placement tests!  D:!

My need to study isn't helped by the fact that I woke up at 2 p.m. today.  o_o  I woke up and saw my clock and was very, "WTH, WHEN DID TIME GO THAT FAST."

Summer resolution: Stop waking up at 2 p.m.  >_>

it's as if the whole wide world is my stage

    Bye for now!

  • How life has changed since I became a graduate:

Now when I go to the arcade at Red Hawk Casino, I feel immature rather than in my place.  "Why can't I gamble, dammit I'm a graduate!  I deserve to gamble!"

    >_>.

But, yesterday was still a heck load of fun.  My brother and my sister drove up from San Jose to attend, where I learned how to follow-up a high five and that my cheap pantyhose sucked.  The ceremony of itself was quite the groovy, and afterward was a huge celebration!

But it hit me that high school is (omg!) over forever when I hugged it out with George, who I've known since before I met Phuc, teased me about liking Phuc until Phuc and I started dating, and has been a very close homie ever since.  I've been pretty "We always gots Myspace and Facebook and AIM and Xanga, baby!" about everyone, but since he sucks butt at uploading photos on Myspace and we've never hung out out of school and he's going to Cal Poly Ponoma, it was quite realistically the last time I'd ever see his face.  He sounded so sad when he hugged me and said "I LOVE YOU MAN YOU'VE BEEN ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS" that I got teary!

Although I might visit him when I go to Disneyland.  And all my li'l UCLA students!  And Chau-fool!  Omg I want to go to Disneyland this or next year.  With Phuc!  :)   Disneyland is so awesome.  Brings people together.  And the Space Mountain ride is just the experience of a lifetime.  And the Peter Pan ride, OMG!

And we always have the reunions, all of which I am attending, hands down!  Plus, unlike throughout all of high school ever, I'm gonna try to hang out with friends before we all move away to college!  :O  I am hopeful.

After graduation, we headed back home where my parents had a feast of food ready, although my brother and sister stole like half of it before they headed back home to San Jose!  T_T!!  My food!!

    mah foooood

    Yay!

we'll bend the world to our will and we'll make time stand still

    Bye for now!
