  • Ahh!

I just finished my last week of high school.  Tuesday ushered in the week with the Senior Drama awards night, and I was super happy when Miz Townsend gave me the Outstanding Theater Student award (along with Phuc!), but I was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED when I won the award for Best Actress!  Ahh!

I had the gist of my last lines planned to sum up everything that I wanted to say about Theater, so I had nothing planned when I won my two awards.  It was so embarrassing: both epic speeches consisted of: "Thank you, I appreciate it."  When I won the unexpected Best Actress, I felt that it deserved a real speech, but only managed to add, "I'm happy you enjoyed my performance."

Phuc won the exact same awards that I did, so we practically have matching trophies now!  8D

His and Her towels, eat your heart out!
    :D

The rest of the week was full of celebration, with all the seniors cheering, and hanging out with Phuc on the last day of school and after graduation rehearsal.  :o   Craziness!

And now I'm going to be graduating super soon!  Now that it's 2 in the morning and I still can't seem to fall asleep, I'm graduating tomorrow!  Although it's probably because I'm super "OMG" that I'm going to be a high school graduate within 48 hours and my parents got me a laptop as a graduation present!  Even though my scholarship money paid for half of it, it's still super badass and I'm totally blogging from it at the moment.  GUHH, AWESOME.

    guhhhhhh

i wanna read an "i spy" book so bad

  • LAST WEEK.

    OMG.

Next week is the last week of school before I graduate on June 1st!

    It also sorrowfully reminded me that the deadline for my placement tests for UC Merced is coming up, so I went to the library and checked out some Math and Chemistry review workbooks.  On the last week of school.  Weak.  ;_;

But otherwise, I am ecstatic.  omg

Like Phuc mentioned, it still hasn't hit me that high school will be GONE and there is a lot of people that I will never see again, ever.  (Chau, I'll visit when I go to Disneyland!  >8D ) Although to be honest, one of the harder things for me will probably be that I won't be seeing Phuc on an everyday basis anymore.  D:!  Oh high school, how you have spoiled me.  But I'm in that phase where I'm just WAITING for it to hit me, because I know it's going to happen, and I'm going to cry like a baby.

Yesterday was the Senior Goodbye Rally and I was very, "UGH, THIS IS OUR RALLY, TAKE THAT.  SUCKA." and was mushy at some of the photos on the Senior Slideshow.  I got a balloon at the end and was like yey, but was even more yey when Phuc let me have his balloon.  :D   Yay!

Phuc and I celebrated our LAST FRIDAY OF HIGH SCHOOL after the Goodbye Rally by going to Tops Yogurt, despite learning that Free 4 Oz. Fridays is dead.  We exchanged yearbooks all crazy-like to write in each others' over the weekend!  :O  weee

So far, I have lined his yearbook with stickers and hearts.

    As it should be!

  • "Best of luck in your educational endeavors."

    Ahh!

SIRs were due last Friday and it was pretty intense rejecting super pro-sauce school UCLA, childhood dream school UC Davis, and recent "I'm going here for sure, no questions about it" school Sacramento State University.

I'd say the same for UC Santa Cruz, but I logged into my UCSC account and saw the "We have received your request to withdraw your application." message before touching anything, and I was totally like, "Wut, i dun rememberz sending that, wuhh hoo rejected my schoo' for me, wut?!"

Yes, that is exactly how I speak in my mind.
    k not really

Last week was a thrill, with the opening weekend of MTHS's school play, "Back to the 80's."  With my super stage manager powers, it went swell, and I am looking forward wholeheartedly towards closing week this weekend.  We need to sell 400 tickets to break even on how much Townsend spent on the production, and the first two nights were packed, so I'm hopeful!  go see it

On Thursday, as an alternative to the "Senior Movie" (wut, 3 hours at school just to watch a movie), Phuc and I went to check out UC Davis, which he will be attending this Fall.  We kept getting "WHYYYY" @ the $6 parking fees, as we are poor high school students, and eventually gave up and just drove around campus before we chilled downtown, stopping into the UCD campus to buy "swag" from the UCD bookstore for him.

Though Phuc keeps rippin' on me for being a Bobcat just 'cos he's an Aggie!  I keep insisting that our Horse-Cat relationship needs to be more like these two:

    Make it happen!
