YESTERDAY WAS SYNTH'S BIRTHDAY.  8D

So, today was the last day that I'd ever go into my old Elk Grove house before it was no longer my parents' property.  (or some reason like that.)  I didn't want to go at first, as I forced myself to emotionally detach myself from that house the day that I moved away, afraid that all I'd feel when I step into that house was bittersweet nostalgia.  And so when I went in with my parents, I did NOT expect my response.  I almost immediately went around the house looking for things that my parents and I could take everything that was rightfully ours.  We took the full-body mirror in the hall, multiple outlet covers, the paper towel holder in the kitchen, a jacket hook in the living room, a crystal that we forgot for the love of Feng Shui, and exchanged our low-quality roof lamp with the better one in the old house... most of this by my request.  >_>.  We left a lounging chair in the hallway, much to my disappointment.  My mom and I made fun of my old room, where there was less than a foot of walking space between my bed and my cabinet. 

I really did have one nostalgic moment where I stepped out into the backyard and went to the tree under which I buried Algernon last year.  Her grave used to be some dirt covered with a pile of rocks so it wouldn't get disturbed by rabbits and wind, but now it was completely covered in grass and it was hard to tell her grave apart from the rest of the meadow.  I thought that was really something.  Then I walked a little farther and all of the sudden a rabbit jumped out from behind a bush and ran like hell away from me.  o.o

I'm all over my UC applications, and now I just need to submit them!  AHH SO NERVOUS GAH.  EVEN THOUGH ELC MAKES ME GUARANTEED ADMISSION TO UC DAVIS AND UC IRVINE LOLOL I STILL NERVOUS GAH.

Oh, and I've totally gotten back into the baking scene now that I know how to use my oven.  This whole time, I was weary that it was broken like in my old house.  I've made two batches of brownies and one batch of cookies so far.  :O  I'm just WAITING for a pot luck at school so I can bring some homemade brownies.  I'm also trying to perfect either one of them so I can package them for Christmas goodies for my friends.  cos you know, das cool

I srsly wanna start getting into cupcakes so I can make sexy cupcakes like from Hello Cupcake!

The "spaghetti" is drizzled frosting, the "meatball" is a Ferrero Rocher, the "sauce" is strawberry preservatives, and the "cheese" is white chocolate shavings!  How cool is that?

I forget if I have anything else that's exciting to say, although I probably do.

OH.  I had this dream last night about Mr. Kjargaard having an extraordinary potluck where there was meat and fish and pasta and candy and snacks.  Because it was only a dream, I ate as much as I wanted and I never got full.  It was awesome.

So yeah, the play went pretty fun!  I totally scored because Miz Townsend let Phuc and me have all of the drink-able props that we had left over from the play, and Phuc forgot his sparkling water in my purse, so I was like, SCORE.   

I toootally freaked out because every year, the upperclassmen would get Miz Townsend flowers for closing night, but this time, I WAS THE UPPERCLASSMAN!  AHH, TEH PRESSURE!  So Phuc and I got most of the cast and the crew to pitch in money and we all got her roses.    I was the one that went, "We would like to bring out our director, Ms. Townsend!" and I was soo nervous, but Phuc gave me a nice pep talk beforehand and I felt better about doing it.  ^^

After closing night, we all went to T.G.I. Friday's, which was pretty nifty.  We had to wait thirty minutes for our seats, but it went by really quickly because... theater kids are crazy as hell.  lulz.  Phuc and I were paying partners with Chris and Walter, the stage manager and the light technician for the play respectively, and we chatted and bonded super awesomely awesome!  how fun

On a complain-y art note, art block is stinky.  Or rather, art laziness.  I have a few sketches that I've drawn in the past and simply do not have the motivation to ink. >_>  Sometimes, I would look at my sketches, and as I think about inking them, I already feel my wrists getting sore and feel the four hours of my life flying away, free, free, free!

Ah, I love the Christmas season!  Not only is my school play about Christmas, but I'm starting to see Christmas lights on houses (Phuc's house is fracking epic) and street lights, and Relient K has put out a Christmas album!  homgz!  :O

My Christmas/birthday list has been accumulating, so I'm gonna put some of it up before I forget!  Mostly because I feel bad for Phuc that our anniversary, Christmas, our birthday, and Valentine's Day are all close together, so I try really hard to give him ample time to prepare.  >_>.  Also, I'm also trying to appeal to people that just see something on my list in the store and goes "what the hell why not?" since there's some pretty get-able stuff. xd
So far I want:

Meanwhile, we had another performance of Reckless today, which went pretty well.  I accidentally got something stuck in my throat in the very beginning of my monologue today, so it flustered me a little and I used my throat instead of my diaphragm so I have a bit of a sore throat now, but still all goooood.

EWW DAMN I GOTTA DO MY UC APPLICATIONS.  I got my ELC letter that I'm guaranteed admission to UC Davis, so I was like "SWEET, DONE!" and it almost slipped my mind until two days ago or so that I still have to apply.  >___>.  I finished up my Stanford application, and it's all set and ready to gooOOoo, then I'm going to apply to a few UCs and private colleges (Caltech?) this month once the play is done (or maybe tomorrow, no show tomorrow, whew day of rest!).  college is crazay crazaaayyy

I am so proud of the work I did for the Key Club site's picture page it's ridiculous.  Cos I'm fail at HTML for the most part and now I'm like WOOO: http://www.freewebs.com/mthskc/pictures.html. 

AND I KNOW U KEY CLUBBERS HAVE PHOTOS.  GIMMEH  D:<  I've not gotten a single e-mail or message with a photo to add to the site, yet the Yearbook picture and several quality group photos from Awake-A-Thon/Fall Rally suddenly pop up around the internet without any intent to be sent to the Technology Chairs to be added to the site.  I see my empty, "here is for the site"less e-mail inbox, and I'm like "WHAA? Y IS NO ONE GIVE DIS TO PUT ON SITE, MAKE SITE PRETTEH."

I started off my day by excitingly waking up at noon, watching some South Park, and just now I finished sewing up my jacket because part of the zipper came loose.

The play has been going swimmingly.  :O 
Acting's been good, although there's been some mess-ups with set changes and breaking character, lulz.  Saturday yielded a small house, but both Amber and Chau were there, so I was like "yayyyyyyyyyyyy!"  :3  ZOMGZ, so like, I performed my monologue on Saturday and when I was done, everyone applauded!  :O  I was so red afterwards!  tee hee tee hee.  So Miz Townsend and Christine and Adam and everyone want me to perform my monologue for the Lenaea Festival at Sac State this year.  those judges are so scary though ;-;

Speaking of which, I've been admitted to Sacramento State University!

I'm also ridiculously psyched because I finished learning how to play "9 Crimes" by Damien Rice on the piano.  Phuc's learning how to play it on the guitar and we're gonna do a duet!  XD

Done with my Stanford application!  Whew, whew, whew, whew, whew.  All I need now is for Ms. Tran to submit my transcript tomorrow. D:  It'd suck booty hole if I miss the deadline just because she didn't send my transcript.  *spams e-mails to her*

I'm so nervous about senior quotes, because I know I'll be looking back at this stuff and I don't want to regret whatever I put down.  D;  nyarrr

For Halloween, I was so excited to hand out candy even though I had play rehearsals until 6 p.m., so I hurried home to hand out yummies.  OMG, I got so scared when these kids rang the doorbell, and I opened the door and there was no one there, and then these two kids jumped from behind the corner and yelled, "BOO!"  I RAN LIKE NO TOMORROW, LORD ALMIGHTY SAVE MEH.  I'm surprised I came back to give them candy.  In my head, I was yelling vulgarities at them for scaring me so bad.  ;_;

On the note of the play, homgz, opening night this Friday you gaiz!  hommggggg

So I went to my THIRD party of high school when I went to Thanh's birthday party on Saturday!    I really liked the big ol' fluffeh tail dog and Chau's socks, and the great surplus of food brought me great joy.  It reminds me that my eighteenth birthday is coming up in a few months, homgz!  :O

Exciting Key Club (gawsh, I wish I joined key club before omg the stole so pretty.) news is that I got Technology Chair in Key Club!  I swear it's because I made some flash games for the site.  xd.  Vivian's been a pretty hip Technology Head so far.  Phuc and I went emo though when she e-mailed us that she wants to replace the site once she learns web design and that she wants to remove the credit to me on my games on the site.  D;  I e-mailed her a sane, rational, rageful essay defending my honor!  Spartaaaa!!
