This entry is by request of Amber. XD
Yay, prom! Yesterday was a lot of fun.
SO UH PHUC TOOK ALL THE PICTURES. Phuc and I were in charge of the Yearbook prom spread so he uh, tried to take a lot of photos but we were pretty distracted by all the dancing and the really sexy food. xd Gogo chocolate-covered strawberries! If you have a myspace, you can catch some photos that Phuc took here: Phuc's Prom '08 Myspace Album (EVEN THOUGH HE WAS TOO LAZY TO ROTATE THEM RIGHT SIDE UP SO I HAD TO DO EET FOR HIM D;)
The way that I got ready for prom was pretty.. lol. Everyone else was getting manicures and getting their hair done, yet I didn't feel very silly standing in my bathroom with a curling iron to my hair. xd My parents took pictures of me in my dress and stuff. lul maybe next year the pre-ball experience will be more exciting than Get-Ready-At-Four-O'clock-And-Leave-At-Six. xD Phuc and I met at the ballroom, although I got kinda grumpy about waiting for him for an hour even though it was for understandable reasons. Even then, he always knows what to say to make me feel better.

At the prom itself, Phuc was full of wonderful amounts of awesome! He got me a corsage with purple roses and I put a matching boutonierre on him (very very badly and Joseph and others had to fix it. >______>;;;;;;). I didn't feel very late at all because everyone was mostly just hanging out, talking, and eating. For a second I was very, "Omg you're not supposed to dance at prom?!" I was seduced to the snack table by a lady carrying a tray of chocolate-covered strawberries there and wanted to just park there forever. Phuc and I were really lame and fed the strawberries and the other (sexy) snacks to each other, but I thought it was fun. x]] SMOOTHIES AWESOME TOO PLZ. I thought it was cute how the prom theme of "Midnight's Garden" was concentrated in a little corner, so Phuc and I were a little scared to go inside because we thought it was only for Prom Royalty. D:
What I did realize at prom is that freak-dancing goes through amazing evolution as I grow older. In elementary school, non-existent (for Cassell, at least). In middle school, it was a slow gyrate on each other's legs. In high school, LMAOOOOOOOO!? "Bend over and let me dry hump you!!" *fears college, then* Phuc was nice and provided his chest to hide behind when I was too scared of really really over-the-top amounts of freaky on the dance floor. What else I realized, after seeing it first at Lenaea, is that it's so weird when people that you really really wouldn't expect to dance provocatively are some of the freakiest people on the dance floor. LOL SHAYLA AND OMEGA PLZ. super duper smart conservative AP/drama kid just going at it

What I love about Phuc is how he absolutely refuses to dance with anyone but me. I'm sure that's a typical relationship-thing, but I still think it's really sweet and lovely of him. Phuc and I danced the night away, divided by breaks to drink smoothies, eat more snacks, and just bum on some chairs. And by request of Amber, YEA WE DANCED HECKA HAWT.
By the end of the night, my hair just EXPLODED. Lol! The DJ mostly played hard Hip Hop music that all sounded very the same. xD Everyone definitely enjoyed it though.After prom, I.. WENT HOME. LOLOLOL. But Phuc called me and we talked until one in the morning, which was really nice.
My ankle started hurting again after I got home, so I'm limping again, but I'm still happy because at least it didn't hurt at prom! YEY.
We all got really cute prom favors of little tea-candle lamps, although I was a little bummed that they didn't come with candles. I'm totally going out to buy candles for mine and Phuc's, though. I love having something to remind me of prom everytime I use it. *joy*Something else that I thought was silly was my disbelief that I was going to prom with a date! XD Never would've expected that in middle school, or even when Phuc and I started going out. At the initial months of our relationship, my Relationship Length Goal was to make it to prom! It was so awesome to be fulfilling that plan with the most awesome guy everrrrr. Now we're apparently aiming for eventually living together sometime during or after college. For all I know, we might actually reach it!
That would be so unreal. Maybe I'll go for Senior Ball first, though. xdTOTALLY GOING TO SENIOR BALL FOR REAL PLZ.

Hi!
Thank god, school today wasn't very demanding. We took typical notes and had some study time in History, we watched the Lion King in Yearbook while I studied for my math exam, Williams had a virtual no-day since I've been doing all my homework and am therefore chilling out with a fairly sturdy 90%, and I slept for the second half of my Pre-Calculus class because I finished my exam early and GOD FORBID I CHECK MY ANSWERS. I stressed out, I stared at the problems, I slaved to find some sort of reasonable-looking answer, I'm done, naptime. >_>; Pfft.
Two nights ago, I realized that decaf coffee is insanely ridiculous. Unless I'm drinking Awesome-In-a-Cup from Starbucks, coffee's main function for me is to keep me awake. I made myself some decaf coffee, and when I was sleepy an hour afterwards, I was utterly disappointed and appalled by how ridiculous it was to have the taste of coffee lingering at the back of my tongue, yet be insanely sleepy. Blasphemy, I tells ya!
Also, my dad picked up my prom dress at the dry cleaner's today.
I still need to do the Seventeen tip of walking around in my prom shoes to get break them in and get used to them. Phuc and I are in charge of taking really awesome mindblowing photos of Junior Prom for the 2008 MTHS yearbook. Oh snap! I'm tempted to let Daniel Pham take a bunch of photos on behalf of me. He takes cute artsy photos a lot. :3I'm going to be driving around tomorrow and Friday evening, which I'm actually fairly nervous for. >_>; Mmph. I wanna slum around all day.
Today's lesson: It's easy to judge, but hurts so much to be judged.
you and i have been through that
Bye for now!

Hai!
I've been having a typically-sturdy policy of starting homework whenever Phuc signs onto AIM. Imagine how much I procrastinate on weekends when he goes to the store or out with friends. Since my boyfriend is now a bonafide athlete in the MTHS men's tennis team, my homework-starting time is now pushed back to at least 5:30. Joy! More time to watch South Park!
In fact, I think I've been watching a dangerous amount of South Park lately. I've re-watched seasons five through eleven at least a good four to six times (watching favorites like ANYTHING with Butters and Cartman several times more) since December. I've been laughing at really crude, ridiculous things when I used to try to rise above and beyond offensive, controversial humor. While I've been having TV marathons through various television series, such as Family Guy, Simpsons, Scrubs, American Dad, House, and Smallville, but South Park has had the largest effect on my attitude towards real-life humor; a crime only the most controversial cartoon on television could mercilessly commit. also cos phuc thinks that shat is hilarious too. xd
On the drive home, I saw someone alter an Enterprise van's "We'll Pick You Up" slogan to say "We'll (rude dirty curse word) you up." I thought it was hilarious, and as I laughed, suddenly realized that the South Park & Hanging Out With Phuc Too Much combo meal has caused my standards of maturity to roll back (which is pretty astounding due to my profuse amounts of eccentricity to start with). In the eighth grade, I found no humor in Ashley, Daniel, and Chocolate giggling over the word that Amanda Cox's last name is a homophone of. I was absolutely shocked and appalled by Wayne Brady's profanity in a Dave Chapelle episode featuring him, but when I re-watched the episode less than a month ago, I found it to be an absolute riot.
As I am maturing in years, my emotional age is running in the opposite direction. Eric Cartman has actually compelled me to make one-too-many Jew jokes and drawn a "that's kind of racist" from Phuc. On a large level, I appreciate and fondly miss my old excess amounts of naiveté, compassion, and testimonies of empathy, but I equally appreciate being able to act my age: the immature, ridiculous teenager that seventeen-year-olds are. Not to say that it required the Jew jokes. That's Cartman's fault. D;
By the way, not to make me a pedophile, but this artist of anime-style South Park characters makes Stan way too handsome and attractive-looking (a.k.a. wtf das hawt) for a nine-year-old. I was fairly impressed for not being someone regularly drawn to bishounen figures and attractive male anime characters. Hawtess plz?
I must also confess that right after completing this Xanga entry, I will be watching more South Park.
On a typical note, Junior Prom is this Saturday!
I'm excited, despite being chubby and unaware how to put on make-up and dress up my hair.Today's lesson (which is admittedly unrelated to everything above): Just because the relationships around me have recently experienced massive amounts turbulence, it doesn't mean that mine will, too.
that's me!

New Layout! :O
W00t.
Finally changed my layout after a blatant refusal to deal with the confusing mechanics of HTML and CSS and crazy coding stuff like that after slaving over a deviantART journal template (for which the graphics were actually originally intended to be for a xanga layout). I still change my Xanga layout more regularly than Phuc, though. ;D
It's of my MapleStory buddies!
Synth (naked bubbley), Kitten (pretty one on very right), Phuc (spazzed out one), and the big-eyed mofo is me (LYRExit!
). xd The graphics are my own (even though i have hella other drawing projects to tend to. jeebus) and the script template is courtesy of CreateBlog.com. Phuc was a dear and image-mapped the header for me 'cos I don't have ImageReady. :3 This may (almost definitely) just be me, but when I read "prv" on the navigation bar, I think of privvy, which reminds me of going potty. >_____<;Game me = SO MUCH PRETTIER THAN REAL ME

I've actually been really really shady about being an extremely amateur anime artist since I've entered high school until I needed to sell some bookmarks at the demand of my parents. >_>; (time for shameless plug?! i think so! order bookmarks here zomgz)
I actually have been eager to blog, but have been putting it off until putting up the new layout.
zomgzSO YEA, BLOG.
Weber was a really cool cat and recommended scholarships for me so that UC Davis could be a realistic goal.
cool beans. It's still fairly unreal that I'm almost out of high school. My parents had a long talk to me today about my future career in Registered Nursing, which I am quite honestly pursuing because I can't decide on anything else. >_>; Three years away from being twenty years old. It doesn't seem that long, but I must admit that I was still in elementary school a brief six years ago. Oh, how things can change in a year!My ankle is almost back in good shape now.
Angel Sanchez was an absolute dear and loaned me some crutches so that I'd be all better in time for prom. I owe her so much! To be absolutely honest, while I felt pathetic for needing to depend on others for the simplest functions of standing and walking, the crutches felt really.. empowering. I was able to walk on my own and walk at a much faster, steadier pace than limping around like a zombie with a bum walk. I really wanted to just walk everywhere possible, armed with crutches. xd Ironically, I never want to get up and do anything with completely healthy feet. LOL LIEK NAOALL MY FRENZ GOING THROUGH ISSUES. OH NO. D:
Today's lesson: You never know what you got until it's gone! D:
i'm letting you go; you're letting me down

Happy Valentine's Day and Singles Awareness Day!
Things have been.. lawl for me. xD
Yesterday, I went driving in practice for Friday's driver license exam and struck a curb for the first time evar. >_> OMG NOT GOOD SIGN PLZ? My dad also tried staking out someone taking the driving exam and UTTERLY failed when we waited for a good fifteen minutes and lost them at a stop light within one minute. >_> Also, I klutzed out massively in my house yesterday evening and twisted my ankle. I couldn't walk at all for the rest of the night and I've been limping really pathetically all of today. ;-; lol with driving test tomorrow. Angel was really cool and offered to bring crutches tomorrow so that I'm all better in time for prom. wee
Phuc got me a totally awesome Valentine's gift that super pwns. Butters is my favorite South Park character, so he got me a Professor Chaos helmet and cape! OMZOMOZMGZ. Everyone that was really lame compared it to "wtf 300?" though. xD ilphuc, as much as I love Butters! XD I gave Phuc part of my gift, although I didn't get to finish all of it because 1) I'm a bum and 2) my mom sent me to bed when my ankle crippled me. >_> Times like this I wish I had a cane and could House up the joint.
I forget what else is up. I'm so out of the loop with college stuff and signed up for senior classes that would prepare me for a Nursing degree. Granted, I'm not very enthusiastic about that career goal, but who knows? Maybe I'll be happy. If not, I can always change majors and stuff. It's still so fail that I finally want to go to UC Davis and my parents are unwilling to allow me to attend there unless I get a massive amount of financial aid. >_<;
YOU GAIZ I LOVED MEET THE ROBINSONS. I'm finally catching up a little in the whole movie scene. ^^;

I had the freakin' funnest time yesterday EVER.
I was about to blog all about it and then realized that Phuc did it better than I possibly could already.
http://www.xanga.com/DaToNeViEtBoI916/640652609/lenea-2008.htmlPS: I was so smitten about him on the bus ride home. He's so pretty. How ridiculous! My favorite part of the day was being with Phuc all day long.
PPS: The dentist that he talks about took his shirt off at the after-festival dance (which was a lot of fun even though Phuc and I made it late cos we were eating chicken wings). Dance with no restrictions = weird freaky people sandwiches (LUL ADAM SAMMICH'D ME ONO. *was secretly waiting for phuc to beat him up lawl*) and five people on the speakers taking off their shirts. GG.
PPPS: EWW, HOMEWORK!Lawl I'll link you to more dance/Round Table fun when Phuc updates. cos.. i might be lazy
This was the best week evar evar.
