If anyone wants to know my third term schedule, ask Phuc.  We have the whole day together!  zomgz.  I remember how during all of freshman year, the only class we shared all year long was P.E.  All day with him now.  How exciting!

That definitely comforts me when this will be my most difficult term of "the most difficult year of high school." :x   I'm faring better in AP English better than I could have possibly imagined in the middle last term, although I'm performing under par in AP US History.  iguessthatevensoutkindalol.

    I've been having bad arm pains for the last few days, but it feels a lot better now -- thus the update!  It's been really bothersome, but Phuc was nice at comforting me throughout even though it was only by phone call. :3  I flew through three cold packs last night. D: The last one broke and jizzed all over my arm, though. >.>;

Lenaea Theatre Festival field trip next Friday, which I'm very excited for!  What's ominous is that Sac State is my probable future university, though, so it's going to be weird being there. ;_; Ironically after I want to go to UC Davis now.  wtf plz.  Phuc is also going on the field trip, so we're going to spend the day together! :]]  omg after-festival dance.  I'm so bad at dancing, it's ridiculous. >_> *fear*  Hopefully Phuc and I take fun pictures. :D

I totally want to play Mabinogi!  It's like an MMORPG Harvest Moon. >_> Iuno if my computer is good enough to play it though.

  • How do you deal with stage fright?

    Lol.

I used to get really terrible "stage" fright, whenever I had to present in front of the class, despite generally being a proficient speaker.  In the seventh grade, I froze up in the middle of an essay presentation for ~10 seconds that felt like forever.  In the beginning of the eighth grade, I presented a poem during which I constantly stuttered.  In social studies, I was so nervous to sing the Star Spangled Banner that I was so quiet that no one had the heart to make eye contact with me.

So, I suddenly got tired of it, and abruptly jumped for the Vice Presidential school election in the eighth grade, with no intent to win -- I just wanted to present a speech in front of the entire school and kick major ass at it.  I was set on practicing my public speaking skills, and things just went up from there. :D .  I eventually prevailed in the rest of my eighth grade presentations, and gave a tubular valedictorian speech at the end of the school year.

I'm not some professional expert public speaker or amazing actress of amazing pro-ness, but I was able to stand up in front of a crowd without wanting to run away, cry, and hide anymore.  And that was awesome.  :3  Since then, I haven't gotten any stage fright at all, nothing beyond some butterflies in my tummy and sweaty palms and the contant need to pee. xD

But whenever I have to get up on stage, whether that be at the front of the class or under the spotlight in the theatre, I feel really proud of myself because I know with all my heart that being able to confidently stand there isn't some God-given blessing; it's something I've worked hard for in order to be able to do.

    zomgz practice wee.

Basically: I deal with stage fright by beating it up. Lulz.

I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

  • Huewww.

I probably have had the most GHASTLY start to being seventeen EVER.

Throughout the course of just the last week alone, the weather has been just awful, my satellite dish fell down, I've had the potentially most traumatic experience of my life so far, I've been having extremely confusing dreams, Mr. Williams is a continuous source of FAIL, some of my classmates revealed themselves as major hobags, my mom got laid-off from her job, and I broke my 2 GB flash drive today! D:

On a great, wonderful note, I appreciate Phuc a lot more now, because he's been there for me throughout every single aforementioned bad thing. :3  best boyfriend evahhhh

Today, I got to spend the whole day with him!  I went over to his house after school and we watched Shaolin Soccer and ate (really awesome) noodles, and then went to the Friday Night Live movie night and watched Sandlot and Good Burger together.  I learned that I laugh REALLY loud and really easily, and I spaz a lot when I watch movies with Phuc.  I can't possibly go to a movie theater with him because we'll be talking and laughing the entire time about crazy inside jokes. >_>  I have so much fun with him! :3

In a nutshell: This week foreshadows a poor year for me, but gives me the promise of a hand for me to hold every step of the way.

Today's lesson quote: "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest  is not to utter words, but to live by them.” ~ JFK

through all the world i'm screaming; my words will reach you somehow

    Bye for now.

  • BIRDDAY. :D

Phuc, Chau, Daniel, Mr. Weber, zomgz my parents, and to-be Joeve XD are probably the coolest people in the world for presents and cards. :3  Thanks to everyone else that gave me kind wishes!

So many people remembered my birthday compared to any other year at MTHS so far. ;_____; *really felt special*

I went to Texas Roadhouse after school and spazzed around saying, "MAH BIRDDAY." yay
