  • Hello, travelers.

I had a nice afternoon.  In the morning, my mom and I went to Pleasant Grove High School to recycle some old computers that were taking up space in the house, then we went to a little flea market in the PGHS parking lot.  We didn't quite prepare for that and didn't have too much money, but I bought a new friend:

    WASHCLOTH BUNNY.  :3  She's fun.

I finished some math homework at the Glenrose house, and afterwards, my mom and I went to Costco to eat.  She bought me a video game for my old-school chunky GBA for coming with her to work for the weekend, and then while we ate, we had a very rare, nice bonding moment.  We talked about how it'd be better and easier on both my parents and me if I aimed for a nurse rather than a doctor, and we were talking about my wedding in the future.  Mind y'all, I was and have been actually one of those girls -- and the only girl out of my close San Jose friends -- that would wonder and daydream about what my wedding would be like in the future.  I would peek at wedding cakes in Red Ribbon and Goldilocks, and occasionally look up wedding favors and prices in my spare time.

So I'm gonna be intimate with y'all and share.  Basically, I just want a cheap yet nice wedding that isn't a big hassle; after all, it's my wedding.  It's a time to enjoy, not stress over.  SO, call me ghetto, but I'm going to maximize the amount of $1 merchandise I will have at my wedding.  $1 paper flower petals, $1 pew ribbons, $1 wedding favors.  And candy.  In little boxes.  And I also want to raffle off pet fish.  3 for $12 flowers bouquets from Albertson's for tables and such.  And of course: white tennis shoes from Payless > heels, for my walking and dancing pleasure.  For less-hassle purposes, bridesmaids dresses will not be extremely particular, just color-coded.  My wedding food isn't going to be ordered-by-person, but just a big buffet-style line of tables on the side of the hall.  Also, inspired by Vietnamese tradition: Y'all be paying to get in my wedding.  $25 - 50.  I ain't gonna be making no parent of mine paying amounts up to $10,000 to $100,000 dollars for my wedding, because God knows that I wouldn't be able to pay for it all by myself. So future wedding guests: I love y'all.  :3  >__> lolmydreamjob.
The thing I'll probably splurge on is a nice bride's bouquet, whatever we're doing music-wise, and my honeymoon.
So my mom loves me for a cost-efficient wedding.
My groom will either hate or love me.
Hopefully love.  That only makes sense.

I have a kitten-related rant, but I'll save that for tomorrow.  These entries are getting lengthy.  :x

Today's lesson: Only time can appreciate how wonderful love truly is.

darling, you have set me free

    Bye for now.
