Hey, world.
Happy belated birthday to Daniel and Hukaru, and happy early birthday to Chocolate.
Things have gotten busier. I definitely can't just assume the napping position when I get home from school. Finals week! And starting next week, due to WHAP, there definitely won't be too much long restful sleeping or -- God forbid! -- MapleStory. D:
On a rather pimped out note, after all the cheery little blogs over the last two years of my absolute joy of being Stage Manager of the various MTHS Drama Productions, I'm actually going to be on stage! :O And by myself! :OO
Background info for my not-from-MTHS-or-do-go-to-MTHS-but-don't-follow-the-Drama-events readers: Annually, the Lenaea Festival is held at Sac State -- it's a theatre festival/competition in which each high school participating chooses students to perform four monologues, two scenes, and a one-act at the festival. Along with the acting mastas Adam, Christine, and Melanie, I was chosen to perform my monologue at two MTHS previews (Jan 31/Feb 1) and at the Lenaea Festival itself.
So I'm nervous/excited. This is earnestly my first time on the stage of the Blackbox Theatre in a production, and it's quite humbling to actually be recognized in this field in some way, rookie as I am. I've always put my heart and soul in supporting the school's thespians in the plays I've managed, so it's remarkable to think that I'm actually going to be the one watched, rather than being in the corner, watching in pride. It's crazyy.
::hopes i dun screw up::
Hmmph. I miss San Jose sometimes. I'd wonder how things would be like if I didn't move away now and then. But at other times, I really do believe that this is where I'm supposed to be at this exact time. So much has revolved around that Theatre, and I don't know what I'd be without that present in my life. Who would I meet if I lived in San Jose now? What would've happened? The one most definitive thing I know is that I wouldn't have met Phuc, which is very God Forbid. I love knowing that despite the year and a half that's passed since I've moved, contact hasn't been broken from precious people from San Jose.
I hope we have a reunion or something someday.

call it mystery or anything, just as long as you call me
Bye for now.
