Day: November 2, 2006

  • My feet are extremely chilly.

I'm not quite sure what the temperature is because I'm too lazy to give a glance at one of my home's multiple thermostats, but they are chilly.  It is possibly because I just took a shower.  This reminds me that the weather is cooling by a lot, by the way that today's high temperature is 10 degrees less than yesterday, at least according to KCRA3 Valley County News.

Sadly, I am out of socks.  I wash my own clothes, and I just hesitate before including socks in the load, stressing over the idea of tediously rolling and tying socks together and putting them away.  Thus, they are all in my hamper.  Alas, my feet are chilly.

I once heard that when your feet are cold, instead of wearing socks, wear a hood or keep your head warm in some other way.  It is because your feet are neglected by blood circulation in order to keep the head's temperature normal for body maintainance.  If a hat assures heat for your head, blood can then concentrate on that less and work on other tasks, such as heating the feet.

However, my hair is wet from my forementioned shower.  I cannot place a hat on my head without soaking it.  The blow-dryer is malfunctioning.  The option of a hat is marked off from my list.

I attempt to cover my entire body -- including my feet -- with a blanket.  The long blanket dirites upon contact with the floor.  I am forced to put it back in my room.

    My feet remain chilly.

I found a portable heater, which is currently directed at my once-chilly feet.  Oh, happy day!

    PS: Good morning, November.
