Hey!
Ed has been stuck on the roof since yesterday afternoon. Rather, it's complex. She
whines and whines to come down, but when actually given the opportunity, she's too wussy to make a jump and she dislikes being carried. We left a ladder up there, and she took a mad long time to climb down it this morning, and all just so she could climb the tree and wander onto the roof all over again. After a lot of struggle and the calls of, "Come down Ed/Chickadee/Checkers!" (each of my parents and i seem to all have a different name for her) we gave her some food and went to Target, and I bought her the belated birthday presents of a pillow and a brush.
If only she'd come down to use them. >.<;;
I've gots drama, but that's a story for another day. Unless I don't feel like typing it all out.
Today's lesson: Persistance is key -- until it's finally time to back off. Sometimes, it's not giving up. It's letting go.
i think about it every night and day.. spread my wings and fly away
Bye for now.
