• Happy New Year's, world.

  
  

  Mine's went well.  Surprisingly drifting from the initial casino plan, as the clock came closer to midnight, the house was asleep and quiet.  I laid in my dimly lit room, watching South Park until the last minute, in which I witnessed the ball drop in Times Square on FOX.  And as much as there was no one around me, I was in no way alone.  The coolest honeydew/taco-man/world-saving cucumber on the face of the planet was on the phone with me, and although it was totally different to last year's jumping around in my Gir cape and Simpson slippers, I couldn't have possibly asked for a better way to start the new year.
  
  Today's '05's lesson: Everything I am today is due to everything I have had the honor to be able to experience, and the people I have had the honor to be able to know.
